Thank you for this. My son recently came to me about social media. He doesn’t have it yet and wants it because his friends have it. So many parents either have no rules or a watchful eye on it or they ban it from their kids’ devices - I seldom see something in between.

Thank you for this post. It’s such a tricky balance, especially when your kid wants to play sports in college and basically *needs* to be on social.

It is a tough call for all families but so important to have more than an all-or-nothing approach. Glad you found this helpful!
